Brian Mellott served for over three years as an infantryman in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY.  During that time, he served for six months in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He also served for three years in the Virginia National Guard’s Data Processing Unit in Manassas, VA.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.  Brian currently resides in Ruckersville, VA with his wife and two daughters.
